I'd love to tell you that we can help you, but I really don't think the SSDT is something you should consider. It is a massive test of man and machine, and it's not something to be taken lightly. You need to have a high level of fitness simply to get round the route each day, never mind ride the sections. Generally you should be a competent experienced trials rider with an excellent overall level of fitness before you even contemplate entering the SSDT.
I wouldn't recommend entering the trial until you've had a chance to see what it's like, or at least spoken with some of your fellow riders who have experienced it to get their take on it all. I'm sorry - I know this isn't what you want to hear, but we can't take any unnecessary risks.
Furthermore, even the fittest of riders struggle to get older bikes through the route, so entering on a TLR 200 twinshock is really not a good idea...if you're desperate to enter, then you'll find the entry form on our website around October with all the information you need. In the meantime, I'd read through this to get a brief idea of what you'd be letting yourself in for :
