car trailer registration?
« Gepost op: 04-04-2011, 15:36 »
Hi all,

As far as I know in the Netherlands you don't need to register small and light trailer. All you need is to put white number plate on it and that's it.

But than is it illegal to go with this trailer to in example Germany where all trailers needs to be registered?

if you have a Dutch car you can legally go to another country with your white licenseplate on your trailer :)

Marten,
Yes, I know that's the rule in NL. But There are also countries that every trailer needs to be registered, no matter of the weight. So I wondered what would police say if they will stop me and ask for registration documents. But from what you say it should not be a problem.
