Volgens de handleiding die ik erbij kreeg zwarte sillecone kit(als mijn hersens me niet in de steek laten).
Probeer hem er morgen bij te pakken en alle details te geven.
Hierbij de instructies. Letterlijk, dus in het Engels
Fitting Instructions
Here's how to fit your guard frome one drz owner to another.
All operations can be done with gear & brake lever on or off, the choice is yours
- Clean the engine case as best you can
- Then wipe over it with white spirit(Dead cheap to buy at Wilko)
- Do the same with the guard on the inside
- Offer the guard up dry to your engine case just to see how it looks
- Use high heat resistant RTV Silicone sealant adhesive (Black or Clear OK) You require one 85g (or net wt.3OZ) Tube (1 tube is sufficient to do both caseguards) Available from Ebay seller (ociadhesives) Email sales@sealantsuk.co.uk Ebay shop Stik 2 N E Thing
- Do not use ordinary Silicone sealant, it must be the adhesive heat resistant type
- Right here you go squeeze the sealant out on the inside of the guard covering as much by squeezing as you can. No need to use your fingers the lines you produce are good enough as long as you cover as much as possible
- Offer the guard up, position and press, keep with it por about 5 minutes until you are happy and carefully wipe the surplus especially around the inspection cover (flywheel side only) Do not wipe too clean just finger the surplus off
- Most important operation now; once you are happy having located the guard, ieave it, go away, leave it alone. How long? Overnight
- Once it's cured the following day don't start pulling the surplus adhesive. Cut it off. If you have surplus adhesive on the front of the guard just finger it off. Nice bit of fingering always does the trick.
- Well done. You have done it.
Edit:
Heb inmiddels kit voor die van mij bij de Gamma gehaald, tube kost € 6,99
Normale Silicone kit gaat tot 120 graden, deze tot 300 graden
Kleur is zwart, maar daar zie je toch niks meer van.
