Hi there,

Is anyone thinking to do the Stella Alpina Rally this year?

Last year no one could get to the top I'm determined to give another try this year.

If there's more people willing to give a try we can maybe go together or meet there.

Anyone wants to join? Next weekend is the Stella already... Recommendations on a nice route to get there?

This year the amount of snow was allot less than last year, I manage together with 6 other adventure riders to pass the first obstacle (same place where i stoped last year due to the snow) and manage to ge at 3000m high aprox. missing the top by 9m, due to a massive amount of snow that was just to hard to take the bikes.


On the way decided to go via Germany, Switzerland, Italy until Bardonecchia... great ride 4 days 2850km, 1st day Highway, 4th day Highway, in between was just lost in mountain passages... great ride.


Will make this trip a regular each year and explorer different routes to get to the Stella.


If anyone knows similar events or long offroad routes to do around (1000km radius) Netherlands, please share so i can explore them :) looking forward for riding again.
